Ukraine’s Sumy region currently has 13 functional underground schools, with nine new facilities under construction, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov told Ukrinform on Wednesday, Oct. 28. According to Hryhorov, the border region has endured more than 4,200 Russian aerial bomb (KAB) attacks this year alone, with Russian forces increasingly targeting civilians and infrastructure.
