In natuurgebied De Liereman in Oud-Turnhout is een nieuwe jachtkansel in gebruik genomen. De 6 meter hoge constructie helpt jagers om de groeiende everzwijnpopulatie onder controle te houden, maar biedt ook nest- en schuilplaatsen voor verschillende diersoorten. Vrijwilligers en leerlingen van lokale scholen hielpen mee aan de bouw: "Landbouw, jacht en natuur kunnen hand in hand gaan."
