El petróleo intermedio de Texas (WTI, por sus siglas en inglés) subía un 1.86% en la apertura de este viernes, hasta US$101.32 el barril, ante el temor a nuevas interrupciones del suministro en Oriente Medio tras los ataques de los rebeldes hutíes del Yemen contra Arabia Saudí y la incertidumbre sobre una salida diplomática al conflicto entre Estados Unidos e Irán.
