Speaking at a Prague security forum, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU) official Andrii Ivanskyi reported that deliberate Russian strikes on western crossing points with Moldova, Romania, and Poland since late August, alongside hybrid threats like cyber interference and bomb hoaxes, are complicating border logistics. Concurrently, checkpoints are adapting to biometric delays from the EU’s new Entry/Exit System (EES).
