ISLAMABAD: Bestway Group on Saturday launched Chinese automaker Geely Auto in Pakistan, acquiring the Proton plant at Port Qasim, Karachi, for assembly. Bestway Automotive, Geely’s sole authorised distributor, will handle sales and after-sales service. The Group Managing Director, Irfan Sheikh, said the company would focus on localisation and build a charging network to support its long-term presence. The launch includes three models: the EX2 compact electric hatchback, the EX5 electric SUV, and the Starray EM-i with range-extended EV technology. Bestway said it has invested over $350 million
