Russian forces struck Epicentr shopping centers across Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Poltava in less than 24 hours, Epicentr PR head Yuliia Chudnovets announced on Sunday, Oct. 25, calling it a campaign aimed at destroying the retail network. The wave included a drone hit in Poltava that injured a 52-year-old woman, a missile strike on Kharkiv’s Osnovianskyi district that wounded a 39-year-old man in a double-tap hit, and strikes on commercial facilities in Zaporizhzhia and Vinnytsia. The attacks follow an escalating pattern of strikes targeting civilian retail hubs ahead of winter.
