La Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) avanza en su presencia en la clasificación internacional elaborada por la Universidad de Stanford al situar a 59 investigadores e investigadoras entre el 2 % de personal científico más influyente del mundo. El 'ranking' de Stanford , elaborado a partir de datos de la base bibliográfica Scopus, evalúa el impacto de la producción científica mediante distintos indicadores relacionados con las citas recibidas por los trabajos de investigación y analiza el trabajo de investigadores e investigadoras de todo el mundo agrupándolo en veinte áreas y 174 subcam
