Mario (60), die in september zwaar werd mishandeld aan het station van Waarschoot, heeft het ziekenhuis verlaten. De man met een verstandelijke beperking lag na de aanval een tijdlang in coma. Na bijna 6 weken in het AZ Alma in Eeklo mag hij nu thuis verder herstellen. "Hij had hier enorm naar uitgekeken", zegt zijn broer Peter.
