Der Sozialist Lula gewinnt überraschend klar Wahlen, bei denen sich viele Bürger für das kleinere Übel entscheiden mussten. Sein Konkurrent vertritt ein autoritäres Politikverständnis und hätte viele gesellschaftliche und ökologische Errungenschaften gefährdet.
