Omprakash Bishnoi, a popular astrologer and influencer, contested the sarpanch election in Jodhpur's Indon Ki Dhani-II. Despite his significant social media presence, he received only 33 votes from 1,600 eligible voters. Bishnoi had over two million followers across various platforms, which did not translate into electoral support. His role as president of a local cow shelter was also not enough to sway voters.
