El Land Rover Freelander era un totterreny molt popular a Europa, fabricat entre els anys 1997 i 2015 a la localitat anglesa de Solihull, als afores de Birmingham. El gegant automobilístic xinès Chery –matriu d’Omoda, Jaecco i Ebro– ha arribat a un acord amb Jaguar-Land Rover per convertir Freelander en una nova marca de totterrenys grans i de luxe, amb l’objectiu de fer-se un lloc al mercat xinès i europeu.
