Quan l’asfalt arriba a temperatures extremes a l’estiu o quan les borrasques de tardor inunden la calçada, la mobilitat sostenible afronta un repte d’infraestructura i hàbits. En un carrer inhòspit, sense ombra, o en un carrer molt mullat i relliscós, el vianant tendeix a rebutjar els desplaçaments a peu i l’ús de la bicicleta i el patinet tendeix molt a la baixa, per no dir que es desploma.
