La Ley de Economía Digital para Pagos Digitales y Electrónicos ofrece una oportunidad para reducir costos, ampliar el acceso financiero y facilitar la formalización. Su implementación requiere condiciones que permitan a personas y negocios adaptarse. José Antonio Peña Merino, titular de la Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones, explicó que CoDi permitirá cobrar desde el celular mediante códigos QR, recibir dinero de inmediato y evitar comisiones para clientes y comercios. Identificó gasolineras y carreteras como los primeros sectores para reducir gradualmente el efectivo.
