Mumbai Crime Branch revealed Tiger Shroff was not the shooters' intended target as they aimed for another celebrity. Due to tight security around the intended target, the shooters shifted focus to Shroff instead. The suspects were arrested in Rajasthan's Kota and granted a 48-hour transit remand for transport to Mumbai. Following the remand, the Mumbai Police adopted an alternative strategy for the safety of the accused.
