Ein Großteil der Bevölkerung fühlt sich gesund, doch die Einschätzung des eigenen Befindens wird kritischer. Das geht aus der am Dienstag veröffentlichten Gesundheitsbefragung 2025 (ATHIS) der Statistik Austria hervor. Dieser zufolge leben sieben von zehn Personen mittlerweile mit zumindest einer chronischen Erkrankung. Eine Zunahme wird auch bei Depressionen festgestellt – und hier insbesondere bei Jungen.
